Howdy friends! It’s been a busy month, and I’m pretty excited about a project I’m working on as well as a couple I hope to start soon.

In the mean time I thought I’d mention a local (Joliet, IL) based illustrator. Stefanie Astronaut’s official website hasn’t launched yet, but you can still check out her work at her Etsy shop here.

Stef asked me to help get her placeholder page up on her hosting account and as I did I went over and checked out a bit of her work. Absolutely adorable wedding invites! If you’re in the market for invites, save the dates, or calling cards be sure to check her work out!

So, I’m helping my BFF layout the menu for her wedding (and no, I don’t really understand why one is needed) and thought I’d give her a nice surprise. This is what I just sent her:
