Tuscola Tuscany is a restaurant that features delicious Italian, steak & seafood cuisine in Tuscola, IL. Chef Bobby contacted me to put a website for them and I jumped at the opportunity to do so. I know Bobby from a previous job, and new he’d be bringing some fantastic dishes to this restaurant.

Here’s what we ended up with:

Recently I was contracted by Divinity Institute of Allied Health, an accredited medical school in downtown Joliet, to redesign their existing website. Beyond a graphic redesign the primary task was finding a CMS solution that was easier for the owners to manage and update themselves.

Tim Challies started doing a desktop wallpaper round up in February – I joined in again this month with this wallpaper featuring a fantastic quote from John MacArthur. I skipped the calendar this month, so theoretically you could use this year round.

Tubs N’ Stuff is a family owned and operated company that specializes in resurfacing/restoring bathroom fixtures and is based out of Joliet. Rob, the owner, contacted me a couple months ago for a minor modification to his existing website, then in April hired me again for a full redesign. I had a lot of fun working on this site, particularly on the background.

Here’s what we ended up with:

A friend of mine asked me to make her something fun for the piano recital she was hosting, she wanted something playful, colorful, but not girly. Obviously the boys weren’t going to want to save it for their memory books if it was covered in pink flowers and unicorns.
I found a cute clip art file – yea, I know, clip art – and hacked the heck out of it.
The most challenging part of it was to find a font that she liked – I think I overwhelmed her with options actually. What she ended up settling on was a font called Chocolate Box.
